Alumni can contribute to the global scope that their former school is taking in a very concrete way by accepting to become international ambassadors in the country where they live and work. To date, alumni living in Amsterdam, Beijing, Berlin, Boston, Brisbane, Brussels, Cologne, Dubai, Dublin, Frankfurt, Geneva, Hong Kong, London, Luanda, Madrid, New York, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, San Francisco, Santiago, Shanghai, Singapore, São Paulo, Sydney, and Zurich have kindly taken on this role.
Volunteers are recruited on a 12-month basis, which is renewable for a further 12 months, in areas where a sufficiently large alumni community is present to make a reasonable and sustainable impact. Their responsibilities are:
- Maintaining an updated database for their city/country
- Liaising with the Alumni
- Office Creating at least 2 alumni get-togethers per year and to act as hosts for each event
- Acting as the main point of contact for alumni wishing to join the network and/or move to the city
- Notifying the Alumni Office of possible recruitment opportunities in their countries and potential alumni who may be helpful to the community as mentors, donors or speakers
The success of this project depends on alumni who are fully committed to the network and the added value it represents for Nova SBE as a whole.
All questions or suggestions on the scheme should be addressed to the Alumni relations Office.
